Ruud EcoNet is an integrated system for your home’s heating, cooling and water heating equipment — delivering a new level of efficiency, convenience and comfort. Now select Ruud EcoNet Enabled water heaters work with Nest. When Nest detects that you’re away, it automatically switches your water heater to Energy Saver mode. When you return, it automatically switches back to your normal operating mode. It’s really that easy to save on your water heating energy. You can also choose to manually select “home” or “away” through the Nest app.
