with an all-aluminum evaporator and condenser coils that fight corrosion and
provide superior heat transfer capabilities for a more dependable
performance—while using up to 58% less refrigerant than similar models.
High Comfort: Two-stage
operation (67% and 100%) works to meet your ever-changing heating and cooling
needs. You’ll enjoy steady temperature and advanced humidity control that
combine to exceed your optimal comfort expectations. This packaged dual fuel
unit also provides 40% higher heating capacity than a standard heat pump,
allowing air temperature to be an average of five degrees warmer than standard
single- or two-stage heat pumps in all heating conditions.
Dual Fuel Efficiency & Versatility: As
a dual fuel unit, the RDFXYC is a single-unit heating and cooling system that
combines an electric heat pump with a gas furnace for efficient, year-round
comfort. Heat pump technology draws heat from outside to keep the home warm
during cooler temperatures and reverses the process in the summer for
year-round efficiency. When outdoor temperatures drop too low for the heat pump
to heat efficiently, the dual fuel unit automatically switches to the gas
furnace function for reliable heating—even in the extreme cold.
Durable Curb Appeal: The
steel cabinet with a louvered coil guard provides excellent internal protection
while the overall modern cabinet aesthetics, including the powder coat paint
system, allow your unit to put its best face forward for years to come. The
sloped drain pan ensures all water is removed from the unit, eliminating any
bacterial growth and enhancing indoor air quality.
